WWF’s Earth Hour focuses the world’s attention on our brilliant planet and how to protect it. It’s a unique annual event, whereby thousands of people come together on the same night, all across the world. The campaign engages the mass public to create a positive force for change and aims to keep climate change and environmental issues on the media agenda. In 2021, it will take place at 8.30pm on Saturday 27 March and will be fully digital.? 

WWF Scotland is recruiting an intern to support the Earth Hour 2021 campaign in Scotland. You will have the opportunity to develop skills and expertise in the planning and delivery of communications and campaigns strategies, including social media, digital, community engagement, partnerships, copywriting and content creation.

As a core part of the WWF team, you will work with colleagues at WWF-UK and WWF International, as well as help with the admin and project management across the teams. Important will be the ability to contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of Earth Hour 2021 too.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on an exciting, high-profile global initiative for a leading NGO.??As an intern with WWF Scotland we will look to help you develop your skills in project management, partnerships, content planning and development, and community engagement, as well as offer the chance to gain experience working with a leading global NGO.
