Integrated Marketing Intern, New York Equitable Origin (www.equitableorigin.com) owns an innovative certification system designed to promote higher social and environmental standards, greater transparency and more accountability in the extractive industries. Our system includes a market mechanism to drive positive change that reduces the impact of natural resource exploration and production, creates a new market for responsibly produced fuels and minerals, and empowers consumers and businesses to reward companies that adopt this new paradigm. Our value proposition grants us access to major oil and gas operators in Latin America and beyond. We are looking for a paid, part-time Integrated Marketing Intern to support our business development and marketing efforts. He or she will report to our Strategic Marketing team and support our CEO and sales team in our Latin America in developing our global sales & marketing tactics. Our need is immediate; our expectation is for the internship to last for six months, with an option to extend the duration. The candidate must be available for a minimum of 10 hours per week during school term and 20 hours per week during the summer term. We have a number of staff based in the US and regional operations in Colombia and Ecuador. Ideally, the position will be based in our New York City office although exceptional candidates residing elsewhere will be considered. Spanish language capability is preferred, but not required.
