We’re currently looking for two business partners to work in the new Innovative Permitting team of technical experts in Operations Catchment Services (OCS). The knowledge and advice the team provide will shape external partner agendas to ensure that plans are in place for a high quality water environment both now and in the future.

You’ll use all your knowledge of water quality planning, the water industry and the price review process as you work closely with colleagues across the business and within the water industry. Providing a link between the OCS Water Quality team and area colleagues, you’ll look across proposals, ensure consistency and share knowledge, help to secure the best possible outcomes with key stakeholders, and influence significant investment in the water environment.

To be a success in one of these roles you’ll be qualified to at least degree standard (or its equivalent) in a relevant discipline, have a strong commitment to innovation and possess excellent communication, networking and influencing skills. Knowledge of the water industry or experience of the price review process is desirable but not essential, and you should have the skills to work effectively with external organisations, particularly water companies. Capable of interpreting or evaluating evidence to propose effective solutions for challenging problems, you’ll also have the ability to shape and facilitate new ways of working that improve efficiency and productivity.
