Description |
WWF is involved in an astonishingly wide range of environmental issues from climate change to illegal logging, from marine legislation to species protection. It’s exciting and challenging work and right now we’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team of Information Officers working with our Programmes and Fundraising divisions. You’ll conduct research and transform often detailed information into friendly, persuasive copy that colleagues can use for a range of purposes, including fundraising materials. It’s an important role that not only helps colleagues meet fundraising targets and keeps donors informed about how their money is being spent, but also helps to ensure consistent accurate messaging is sent out by the organisation. You’ll also liaise with our Finance teams and monitor which projects still require funding and pass this information onto fundraising colleagues. We’re looking for someone with experience of researching and handling information, as well as the skills to synthesise material from multiple sources into a coherent persuasive proposal. An understanding of conservation issues and excellent communication skills will be essential as you’ll be working closely with project experts and fundraisers alike. Some experience of copywriting and an eye for detail would also be an advantage.
