FOUR PAWS is an international animal welfare organisation with headquarters in Vienna, Austria, and has offices in 10 other countries. Founded in 1988, the organisation improves animal welfare through sustainable campaigns and projects. FOUR PAWS focuses on animals that are directly under human influence, for example stray dogs and stray cats, laboratory animals, farm animals, companion animals and wild animals kept in captivity. FOUR PAWS aims to help animals in need directly and quickly.

Individual Donor Fundraiser (m/f)
Location: London, Salary £30-32,000 plus pension and benefits
 

To support their work they seek a Fundraiser to focus on individual donors in the UK.


Duties will include: engaging with existing donors to maximise retention and increase income. Working with external agencies to develop and implement new fundraising initiatives to recruit new donors in particular regular givers. You will effectively manage relationships with direct marketing DRTV, database and telemarketing agencies to deliver fundraising campaigns and work with the national major donor fundraising and online marketing team to ensure an integrated approach. 

You will manage the budget and reporting to both the international and UK management team and share your knowledge with the international fundraising team.

Candidates should have a proven track record of success in the field of fundraising and be experienced in handling databases/statistics. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be confident managing suppliers and be able to work simultaneously across a number of different fundraising projects as part of an international team. An affinity to animal welfare would be an advantage.
