The Team Lead (Government Incentives) is a key part of the Utility Administration Group’s Lead Team, reporting initially to the Residential Incentive Manager for training, and then to the Director of the Group.  The Lead will be responsible for the management of a small team of administrators processing and securing Federal and State incentives.

This team interacts daily with a broad audience, including customers, government bodies, public utility companies, external administering bodies, as well as internal teams including Sales, Operations, Engineers, and Fund Accounting.  As such, the Team Lead *must* be able to effectively manage a wide range of relationships in a positive and energetic manner in order to obtain all necessary information so that incentives are submitted and reported on effectively.  Ensuring that the incentive is secured requires a significant amount of administrative work including the understanding program rules and regulations, retrieval and coordination of information, completing detailed and technical applications and submissions, and managing deadlines and milestones. The Team Lead will be expected to be technically proficient (able to complete all tasks that the team carries out), as well as lead the team to meet specific goals and metrics.  Reporting on the team’s progress will be a key deliverable.

The successful applicant for this position will require a high degree of skill in process administration, problem solving, team leadership and coaching, and relationship management.  The most suitable applicant will be proactive, calm, mature, logical and organized, and take pride of ownership over the quality and accuracy of their work.  Given the high volume, it is essential that the Team Lead be able to design and implement effective work processes that facilitate the team’s productivity.
