Climate Process and Change

Research Scientist/Senior Research Scientist (EL1/EL2) Ongoing

Salary: $95,851 - $134,250 pa

Duties:

To undertake an active research program in ice core palaeoclimate within the Climate Processes and Change Program of AAD, contributing to the Australian Antarctic Science Strategic Plan.  The position has a significant team focus in provision of a strong quantitative and analytical basis to the activities of the group. The position demands a productive and innovative researcher capable of initiating and driving independent research ideas as well as supporting the work of others. In addition to strong computational and analytical capabilities, the research requires a capability to contribute to laboratory work (including freezer work) and field-work.
