Job title - IAG Consultant. based in Chippenham

Salary: £19,347.91 per annum

TCV Employment and Training is a leading provider of recruitment and employment focussed training.

TCV Employment and Training Services are looking for individuals to specialise in the Advice and Guidance field to cover the Wiltshire area. As this is an extension to current services the ideal employee will be required to market and promote the service in order to increase the customer base. The aim of the service is to provide customers from a range of backgrounds, employed and unemployed with advice on how to overcome their barriers to either gaining employment, changing career, gain further education, Improve IT Skills and promotion within current role.

The role will involve: 
- Develop, plan and control the provision of one-to-one advice sessions with customers, in accordance with the contract.

- Monitor progress of customers, offer support, advice, effective signposting and referrals to other services.

- Provide ongoing careers and skills advice to priority customer groups to help their progression into training and sustainable employment.

- Create action plans for each individual customer using SMART terminology

- Set SMART objectives for customers with scheduled reviews for follow up

- Use management information systems to ensure contractual management information is collated in accordance with the contract.

- Ensure targets are monitored and achieved as per the contract.

- Develop training resources ensuring flexibility to help individuals overcome barriers though identifying a range of locations, outlets and delivery methods.

- Develop close working links with customer support businesses in the area, i.e colleges, libraries and open learning centres

The ideal candidate will hold the relevant qualification in Advice and Guidance (NVQ level 3) and be willing to work to a Level 4 IAG qualification. Relevant experience within an Advice and Guidance role will be considered.

37.5 hours per week

A full clean or near clean driving licence is essential.
