Hydro DeveloperThis is a key role in this leading renewable energy consultancy specialising in small to medium hydropower schemes and other water related projects. The company has offices both is Scotland and in the South West England, therefore there is some flexibility in the location of the ideal candidate. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of development activities from identifying new sites, feasibility studies, preparing preliminary scheme designs, management of environmental sub contractors and consultants on scoping and EIA studies, preparing budgetary costs and general project cost control. Ideally candidates should have the following sill set:· Degree educated or equivalent in an Engineering discipline· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal· A high level of numeracy, literacy and IT skills (MS Office)· Flexible and practical approach · Self-motivation and a team player The job holder needs to have a driving licence; some travel across clients’ sites is to be expected with the role. |
