This is a unique opportunity to join the foremost eco-centre in Europe, the Centre for Alternative Technology. Based in beautiful mid-Wales, the Centre overlooks the Snowdonia National Park- a great area to live in with a vibrant local community.

With 35 years of expertise in the environmental sector, we have developed a wide and diverse range of activities.

We are growing and evolving and are seeking an experienced HR professional.

The Post:

This is a challenging position with scope for developing the role. Main areas include:

  • Providing leadership within our HR department
  • Dealing with matters to do with employment law
  • Overseeing recruitment
  • Supporting line managers to develop the skills & capabilities of their staff
  • Developing and overseeing our exciting volunteer programmes
  • Managing our site community properties

The Person:

  • An HR professional with a wide range of HR skills & experience
  • Someone looking to make a difference to the Organisation's effectiveness
  • Ability to adopt a collaborative approach to management issues
  • An interest in environmental matters
