You will join a team of scientists within Climate Change Group's science and analysis division providing technical and scientific advice to policy colleagues on sustainable energy issues including energy efficiency, energy demand, distributed generation, fuel poverty and combined heat and power. Your varied responsibilities will include developing a strategic view of the technical, economic and practical options for delivering the government's long term carbon reduction targets for 2050, evaluating the progress of existing policies on energy efficiency and procuring and managing research projects. You will have a degree in a physical science or engineering discipline and ideally postgraduate qualifications relevant to energy and/or environmental issues.
