EnerNOC, a leading provider of demand response and energy efficiency solutions, has an immediate need for an HRIS Specialist to join our world-class Human Resources organization. The HRIS Specialist will primarily be responsible for maintaining the company’s HRIS and related tasks and projects. Key responsibilities will include:
Project Management
• Partner with HR management and IT on implementation of new Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS
HRIS Maintenance and Production
• Maintain overall data integrity of EnerNOC’s Human Resources information system (HRIS) through regular system updates, audits and troubleshooting o Process all organizational and benefit changes for employees in HRIS (new hires, terms, leaves of absence, promotions, title changes, relocations, etc.) o Create/modify organizational and benefit plan information structures in HRIS as needed (Open Enrollment, M&A Activity, etc) • Upload and audit benefit eligibility files transferred between HRIS and benefit vendors • Maintain benefit-related news and announcements in the Employee Express Portal
Auditing/Reporting
• Audit all benefit invoices for accuracy and process them for payment • Respond to internal customer reporting inquiries, including metrics requests for RFPs • Execute the monthly headcount report for Finance • Execute state (San Franciscso Health Care Security Ordinance, Massachusetts Fair Share Contribution, etc) and federal (EEO-1) reporting as required • Respond to other reporting requests as needed • Audit monthly I-9 report to ensure that all non-US citizen paperwork is up-to-date
Payroll (US and International)
Partner with Benefits Specialist and Payroll department to ensure that data is correct for each payroll run, including:
• Reviewing the payroll/benefits spreadsheets maintained by the Benefits Specialist against source documentation in each payroll folder • Ensuring that all bonuses/extra pays are processed in the proper pay period • Reviewing Payroll’s change report each pay period • Working with Payroll to resolve any HRIS-to-Payroll system discrepancies/issues
Other/Administrative
• Respond to Verification of Employment Requests • Save files to HR drives as needed • Serve as back-up resource to Benefits Specialist as needed
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree • 5+ years of progressive experience in an HR systems role • Experience managing or participating in a new HR system implementation • Solid understanding of HR systems-related workflow (how information gets from HRIS to Payroll, from HRIS to benefit vendors, etc.) • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent oral and written communications skills • Excellent organizational skills • Initiative, resourcefulness and the ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible team environment • Excellent auditing skills as well as the ability to create audit strategies to correct weaknesses/inaccuracies when necessary • Experience with/understanding of benefits administration • Ability to handle multiple tasks / projects and meet delivery expectations
