Essex Wildlife Trust is a registered charity, protecting wildlife for the future and for the people of Essex. The Trust has 87 nature reserves, 10 Visitor Centres, over 34,000 members, around 100 staff and over 2,000 volunteers. 

This is a great opportunity to join our successful organisation at a time of positive change.  The role will be a busy and challenging position and will enable the post holder to work on a wide range of HR issues. This is a new role and will work with the Trust HR Manager and Volunteer Coordinators to support the organisation by providing a comprehensive advice and support service to all managers. 

The successful candidate will have experience as a HR generalist including experience and/or ability to manage and develop HR processes and procedures and produce HR management information. You will have HR administration experience to include drafting contracts and offer letters together with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.   You will ideally possess a professional HR qualification, such as CIPD or CHRP and be a highly competent user of MS office

 

You must have experience/understanding of recruitment processes together with good technical HR and employment law knowledge and a track record of developing effective working relationships. The role is ideally suited to someone who has an interest in working for an environmental charity and has an interest in developing and growing the role to develop the organisation and their own skills. 

Please note, this office is not on a public transport route so you will need your own transport.
