Southern Housing Group has recently established an in house Home Energy Advice Team and is now recruiting four Home Energy Advisors, across the company, to complete the team. You will build on the Groups work to minimise costs for residents, deliver affordable warmth and reduce fuel poverty.
The roles present an exciting opportunity to help establish and deliver this new service that will assist residents, particularly those in or at risk of falling into fuel poverty, with energy efficiency advice and support to help reduce utility bills.
Working with the Senior Home Energy Advisors, the team of Home Energy Advisors will deliver face-to-face energy and water saving advice to both individuals and groups of residents and input into the on-going development of the service. The advisors will work with both internal staff and external agencies to raise awareness of the service, generate visits and maintain referral processes.
The appropriate individuals will have experience delivering advice services to clients from varied backgrounds preferably with a working knowledge of fuel poverty issues and energy efficiency.
