Health and Safety Advisor

Our client is a privately owned commercial group, with business interests in the food and food related industries. The role is to join its small head office team in London to provide advice to all levels of management and ensure that all safety legislation is adhered to and policies/practices adopted. You will carry out risk, COSHH, manual handling, noise and fire assessments and offer practical and effective solutions. You will carry out regular site inspections of the UK operations and ensure full compliance with legislation as well as planning practical and effective methods to promote health and safety and working practices.
For this vacancy you need to hold a Nebosh Diploma and chartered membership of IOSH. You will have a proven track record in health and safety and a multi-site environment preferably in a factory, food or food related industry. You will need proven experience in health and safety legislation and some knowledge of environmental auditing and CDM regulations.
