Natural Power is a leading international renewable energy consultancy. We provide expert services to the renewable energy industry in the development, construction and operational phases of renewable energy projects. We have built a successful ethos for delivering environmentally rewarding projects that allow Clients to reach their economic objectives.

We are currently seeking a full time permanent Assistant/Health & Safety Advisor to assist with the co-ordination and management of Health & Safety duties across the business. The Health and safety advisor will be required to assist the H&S/CDM Coordinator and the Project Management of Wind Farm Constructions from initial development, through to project handover to the client; providing expert advice on current H&S and CDM regulations. You will also assist current Health and Safety personnel with H&S training, Inductions and company management systems.

Report to and working closely with the Health & Safety and CDM Co-ordinator you will provide health and safety support to the project team and other internal departments. You will assist in the preparation of H&S documents, carry out on site audits and inspections, deliver internal inductions, conduct internal risk assessments, prepare and maintain H&S files, manage contractor/client and landowner relationships and provide CDM support on construction projects.

You will be relevantly qualified in the field of Health & Safety, ideally with IOSH (Member or working towards being chartered) and NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level. Construction experience within the Renewable energy sector would be a particular advantage, although not a necessity.

You should have CDM experience at a level whereby you have been responsible for managing your own workload, deadlines and output. Project Management experience would be taken into account if your previous roles did not cover CDM. Experience of using Safety Management Systems is also a requirement, along too with the ability to deliver meaningful and accurate information through effective reporting.

You will have excellent communication skills; diplomatic but persuasive in your approach to both internal and external customers. You will be able to demonstrate a self-motivated, organised and confident attitude to your work with the ability to work effectively as part of a team as well.

Whilst this role is predominantly based at our Office in Falkirk, you will be required to work from our head office in Dalry, Castle Douglas and conduct site visits to wind farms across the UK and therefore holding a valid UK driving license will be required.

Salary will depend on your experience and background. We offer generous holidays, membership to our group personal pension scheme, childcare vouchers, a bike to work scheme, Friday barbeques, life assurance, critical illness cover and income protection.
