Health and Safety Adviser for Secondment (urgent)

A prestigious consultancy is looking to place a consultant on full time secondment within an investment and fund management organisation. The objective is to assist the end client with the establishment of the SMS into current works activities and practices, policies/procedures. The template SMS will form the basis for the development of generic and site specific systems as required. You will also assist the end clients Manager by handling day-to-day activities i.e. Inductions, Incident Reports, Risk Assessments, Permits-To-Work, Building tours, Inspections etc. During the first month it will be important to flesh out the Project scope and draw up a programme to achieve the objectives. During the project there will be a review for resources required to manage H&S. You will need:
- Extensive safety systems experience in a corporate/city organisation with a strong office bias. Candidates from an engineering or manufacturing background are not likely to be of interest.
- A H&S qualification would be desirable.
