Head Ranger – Stanwick Lakes

Full time, permanent contract (37.5 hours per week)

Salary: c £28k depending on experience

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small environmental charity and social enterprise in a leadership role. Based at one of the region’s most popular countryside sites, the job involves organising and coordinating the work of the Ranger Team to help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of Stanwick Lakes.

Looking after the conservation interest of this SSSI while balancing this with recreational use will be key, as will ensuring a positive experience for users through engagement, educational events and activities, whilst maintaining a safe environment through regular site and infrastructure maintenance.
