Description

Location: The Lodge, Bedfordshire (role involves extensive/extended travel to West Africa, Indonesia and other locations as required)

We need an outstanding conservationist to lead and manage the RSPB's programme of major tropical forest conservation projects.The postholder will be part of the department's senior manger team and will have extensive knowledge and practical experience of collaborative working on major tropical forest conservation programmes. You will possess excellent project management skills as well as being able to build capacity of teams and partners to deliver world-class outcomes for biodiversity and local communities in developing countries, such as Indonesia and Sierra Leone. You will be a clear and diplomatic communicator used to advancing policy and advocacy and promoting good practice among the leading organisations working in global conservation.
