Head of Sustainability

This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving University and lead its sustainability team.  You will be responsible for developing and leading the sustainability strategy and embedding a carbon reduction programme. 

As part of the Estates and Facilities Team you will be integral in shaping how the University uses its property, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and best practice.  Your knowledge and experience of engaging with people in a large organisation to help the learning and understanding in matters of sustainability, energy and the environment will be pivotal in the University achieving its long-term ambitions. 

To succeed in this role, you will need to be an experienced leader of people, and inspire a team in achieving its objectives.  You must be a strategic thinker and be able to communicate complex information to a varied audience.
