This role is to develop the UK market for the services offered by the Practice, ensuring adequate resource is in place to deliver the services and to participate in the leadership team for HSE Services. To support team members and clients on issues relating to Safety and Risk management. The key responsibilities will be:
· Define the current and future market, market drivers and service offerings
· Develop a five year strategy for developing the Practice, in line with the HSE Consulting Strategy
· Development and delivery of an annual Practice Plan which will include targets and objectives for:-
- Sales and invoiced revenue
- Sales & Marketing, working with the Key Client management and
  HSE Sales & Marketing teams
- Clear service and product offerings for the Practice with a for taking to      
  the market                                                                                                                                 
- HR, including recruitment, performance management, training and all
  staff related issues
- QHSE
· Ensure the Practice plan is approved by the HSE Consulting leadership team and communicated to key stakeholders
· Track and report on the status of active proposals
Technical
· Ensure the Practice has sufficient technical competence and thought leadership
· Ensure compliance with HSE QHSE and external quality/certification requirements
· Monitor and report on KPI’s specified by the HSE Consulting Manager
Candidate Profile: 
Strong international consulting experience in:-
· Safety management system assessment and design
· Safety culture and behavioural safety assessments
· Quantitative and qualitative safety and fire risk assessments
· HS&Risk Regulatory Frameworks and Guidance
· Hazard assessments, including Hazard and Operability studies
· Hazardous materials and human health impacts
· Formulation of Emergency Response Plans
· Loss prevention
· Offshore risk assessments
· Asset Integrity Management
Experience may include :
· COMAH, HAZOP, SIL, Radiological Protection, QRA,
· Degree qualified in a numerate subject, specifically Engineering
