HEAD OF RETAIL, TRADING AND LICENSING
Salary: c£50,000 per annum plus benefits
Based: Nr Horsham, West Sussex

Founded in 1824, the RSPCA is the largest animal welfare charity in England and Wales, employing over 1,500 people and comprising 170 branches. Its mission is to prevent cruelty, promote kindness and alleviate suffering of all animals, nationally and internationally. The Society funds it annual running costs, currently in excess of £100 million, almost exclusively by voluntary donations and legacies.
For this new role we are looking for an exceptional person to devise, develop and implement an effective retail, trading and licensing strategy to enable the RSPCA to meet its strategic aims.

To succeed you will have:
• A substantial track record of setting, managing and analysing multi-discipline income and expenditure budgets.
• Excellent negotiating and influencing skills at all levels.
• Proven ability to generate significant new business deals in either the commercial or charity sector.
• Demonstrable experience in managing and motivating a team of people to achieve its goals.
• In depth knowledge of retail and marketing channels.
