Our expertise covers the whole range of power sector projects including; thermal, hydro, renewable energy, and transmission and distribution systems.
Scott Wilson's transmission and distribution expertise covers all levels of voltage to 500KV.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our Power Sector as a Head of Renewable Energy. 
Based our of one of our main power sector offices, the role would incorporate the following elements: 
 
-Coordinating SW activities in renewable energy which are being undertaken from up to 20 offices - mainly in UK but also overseas including China;
-Leading the business development for Scott Wilson in Renewable Energy
-Heading a Renewable Energy Group in the Environment and Natural Resources Power Business Unit, taking responsibility for P&L, business development, management and expansion of staff resources, technical leadership and HSQ&E.
 
About You
Suitable candidates must have a good knowledge of the UK renewable energy sector and have significant experience within the sector therefore. You will have excellent understanding of the business drivers for renewable energy  such as Renewable Obligation Certificates, Feed-in Tariffs, Distributed Generation benefits, carbon finance etc.

You will have a broad technical knowledge of renewable energy technologies and preferably a specialisation in wind, marine or small scale hydropower sufficient to command a leadership position.

As well as the above you must have good management skills, enthusiasm for the sector and it would be advantageous to have knowledge of the international renewable energy sector and a proven track record in leading a renewable energy consultancy business.
