Head of Marine Engineering. Etterstad

My client is a leading based cables manufacturer who, produce and install subsea cables for the offshore, oil, gas a renewable energy markets .

Position Overview: nLiasing with customers to gain a full understanding of their needs. Managing the instalation process throught the succesful selection of subsea contractors.

Responsibilities:n- Provide support and technical guidance on engineering, procurement, sales and project management of all technical aspects of Marine Engineering (e.g. laying vessels, chartering, installation tools, seabed conditions, Post Burial Survey, etc.)n- Appointment of subcontractors and consultants in all Marine Engineering mattersn- Develop standards and policies on issues concerning marine engineeringn- Supporting Sales and Project Management in Risk Managementn- Supporting the Finance Department in Marine Insurance

Education:nMinimum bachelors level degree engineering

Core Requirements:n- A minimum of 5 years professional experience in the submarine cable, – oil and gas, ship charter, or cable laying industryn- Strong understanding of processes and procedures in the marine industry n- Fluent Norwegian speaker
