Head of Fundraising

Full time (35 hours per week)
Circa £32k per annum

At the Earth Trust we believe that if we all make small changes to the way we live, our children and grandchildren will be able to enjoy the places we love, tomorrow.

We are looking for a creative, strategic fundraiser, able to be hands on and build a team to bring in the capital and revenue funds for our ambitious agenda: to upgrade our centre facilities establishing it as a single visitor hub; a local food and farming initiative; Skills for Tomorrow - a county wide initiative for apprenticeships, trainees and volunteering; and Future Forests where with our Great Britain and Irish partnerships, we research and breed the trees for the future and demonstrate what sustainable woodland management looks like.

We are looking for a talented individual who will work with the Chief Executive to help the Earth Trust move significantly forward on its exciting journey. You will take the lead on fundraising, rapidly developing an overall fundraising strategy for the Trust, developing plans to grow different income streams and bring our major projects to life. At the same time you will have to respond to grant application deadlines and continue to bring in unrestricted income. You will have a solid background in fundraising, first class communication skills, and a passion for people and the role we play in sustainability.  You will be commercially aware, up to speed with current fundraising trends, and able to develop effective funding partnerships.

If this sounds like you and you want to join us, please get in touch for more information: email Dr Jayne Manley, Chief Executive or call 01865 407792.

To apply send a full CV and covering letter explaining why you are suitable for the role to recruitment@earthtrust.org.uk or post to: Angela Dearlove, Earth Trust, Little Wittenham,
Oxfordshire, OX14 4QZ

Closing Date for applications: Midnight, Tuesday 3rd February 2015
