Description

Based in Cambridge, WCMC is a world leader in biodiversity knowledge working with scientists and policy makers worldwide to place biodiversity at the heart of environment and development decision-making.  We are established as a collaborative Centre of UN Environment, and as such, we work extensively with UN organizations, governments and the private sector around the world. In addition, we work with other partners such as Foundations and global NGOs. 

We have an exciting growth strategy and require a Head of Finance and Operations to take responsibility for all aspects of finance (including the finance team); for contracting and the commercial aspects of project management; for IT and other administrative functions.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate good experience of heading these functions, but as importantly they must be able to demonstrate that they can play a leadership role in an organization that is passionate about the world’s biodiversity challenges.
