Head of Environmental Protection Training - Specialist Instructor (Hd EP)

Job Description: You will be responsible to OC Specialist Training School for the organisation and management of Environmental Protection (EP) Training. Duties will include the programming of 10 EP courses including their planning, scheduling and resource management. Additionally you will generate and maintain the Training Task Programme (TTP) including liaison and networking with other units across the UK and abroad. You will also liaise with any other stakeholders i.e. the course sponsors accreditation bodies such as IEMA & IOSH and the Energy Institute, the latter with regard to maintaining the course accreditation/certification. You will be responsible for the maintenance of instructional standards, through instructor monitoring and coaching, and in liaison with two EP course designers, for the course content. You will manage and control the EP training Section Budget for travel and subsistence and will have line management responsibilities, including the allocation of work, training and reporting etc for 8 Pay Band D Instructors.
