Ability to identify research priorities against the context of Ofgem’s objectives and the wider social, economic, environmental and political background
Demonstrated ability to generate insights into the functioning of energy markets and the inter-relationship of markets with the objectives of sustainable development
Strong evidence of the application of economics and competition analysis to relevant markets and the implications of sustainability considerations for this analysis
Ability to manage a number of major projects against challenging deadlines
Ability to build and develop effective teams and develop individuals’ capabilities
Strong communication skills with the ability to represent Ofgem and influence key stakeholders within the industry, in government and in academic circles and work effectively with internal stakeholders................
