Head of Endorsed Advice, London Circa £45,000 per annum depending on experience
Fixed term contract (to cover maternity leave) from 15th February 2012 until 31st December 2012
The purpose of the role is to:
Lead, develop and deliver Endorsed Advice, Energy Saving Trust’s Certification and Training services in line with agreed business objectives and targets. Ensure the Endorsed Advice and Data teams are properly supported in order to deliver commercial services on time and to budget. Actively contribute to the development of EST’s business services, supporting the Head of Assurance and COO to ensure long term viability of EST’s Certification and Assurance Services. The main responsibilities of the role will be to:
Act as a proactive member of The Energy Saving Trusts leadership team. Develop and deliver targets in accordance with the organisations business plan. Ensure the operational effectiveness of the teams both internally and externally. Keep up to date with the changing energy saving market and ensure that the services remain relevant, viable and profitable, by implementing necessary changes (NPD, variants, or associated opportunities). Feed insight and client feedback into the development of the Energy Saving Trust’s commercial services by sharing best practice, knowledge and insight to enable the business to achieve its commercial goals as effectively as possible. Support other parts of the business around the area of client management and delivery, including business development, marketing and the wider assurance team. Follow agreed and reporting requirements and accurately manage the program budget (revenue, profitability and spend). Act as an ambassador for certification and assurance services internally and externally in order to generate new business and raise the profile of EST. To be successful in this role you will have:
Proven client management skills and experience in the certification and/or energy saving sectors. Experience of managing either certified programs or of working with certification and accreditation schemes. Substantial management experience Client management experience in the certification &/or energy saving sectors. New product or service development experience.
