Description

E3G is a European think tank working globally to accelerate the transition to sustainable development. E3G was ranked 5th most influential environmental think tank by the UPenn “Go To Thinktank” Global Index in 2016 and 2017.

E3G is growing rapidly.  It has offices in London, Berlin, Brussels and Washington DC and is in the process of expanding its European network as well as increasing the reach of its global activities. E3G also works in Latin America, China and South East Asia.

E3G Berlin has been a critical part of the E3G network since 2004, involved in shaping German and European debates on a wide range of domestic, European and global policy; in particular, coal phase-out, clean energy transition, social transition, sustainable finance, climate security and diplomacy.

E3G Berlin also leads E3G’s activities in Central and Eastern Europe and the E3G network’s social transition work, including developing and shaping European and global policy.

Following the departure of the current Head of Office, E3G is looking for an experienced leader in the sustainable development field to grow its presence in Berlin and take a leading role in shaping the development of E3G’s European network and programmes.
