This position serves as the Hawaiian Monk Seal Recovery Coordinator for
the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Pacific Islands Regional
Office, Protected Resources Division, located in Honolulu, Hawaii. The
Monk Seal Recovery Coordinator's job duties will include working with
U.S. Federal, State, and local agencies to coordinate monk seal recovery
efforts, such as developing and implementing monk seal management and
conservation efforts. The Coordinator will identify research needs
related to management and recovery actions, as mandated by the ESA and
MMPA, while coordinating and communicating with agencies, community, and
stakeholders regarding monk seal conservation issues.....
