We presently have a vacancy for an installer to join our team in Hampshire. We are looking for a positive and motivated individual with proven construction industry experience. JOB DESCRIPTION
• Participate in the installation of solar hot water and PV systems • Liaise with a range of clients during project delivery • Assist with procurement and waste disposal • Actively look for ways to assist colleagues
The successful candidate will ideally have skills and experience in the following areas:
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Essential • Practical experience of roofing/plumbing/electrical and building works (Minimum 2 years on site experience). • NVQ level 2 qualification in a construction trade • Good communication skills • Proven ability to work in a team • Problem solving skills • Ability to manage your own time effectively
Highly Desirable • Knowledge of solar thermal and electric systems • CSCS card • Working at Heights training • Asbestos awareness and abrasive wheel training • 1st Aid qualification
CHARACTER
Essential • Proven ability to work as part of a team • Proven track record in customer care • Proactive attitude to problem solving
Desirable • Self-confident • Clear headed under pressure
OTHER
Essential • Able to work a range of hours with occasional overnight stays • Enthusiasm for renewable energies • Full clean driving licence • Legal right to work in the UK
BENEFITS AND REMUNERATION
