We presently have a vacancy for an electrician who can manage a small team of installers to join our branch in Hampshire. We are looking for a positive and motivated individual with qualifications in electrical installation and proven construction industry and supervisory experience. JOB DESCRIPTION
• Assist in the management of projects from sale through to installation.
• Ensure projects are installed safely in a timely and cost effective manner, to a high
• standard.
• Be the primary point of contact for the project manager.
• Provide technical input into electrical design.
• Provide leadership to the install team to ensure a safe and successful installation.
• Ensure full Health and Safety compliance on your projects.
• Ensure all electrical work undertaken by the branch is safe and complies with regulations.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience and skills in the following areas:
EXPERIENCE
Essential
• At least 4 years practical experience of electrical works in commercial sites and domestic properties.
• Experience of supervising a team
• Experience of working under NICEIC or similar accreditation bodies
Desirable
• Experience of solar electric systems
• Experience working on roofs
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
• City and Guilds 2381 and 2391 or similar electrical qualifications
• CSCS Card
Desirable
• City and Guilds 2372 PV Training
• Training in working at heights
• Training in the supervision of site health and safety
• Qualifications in 1st Aid
CHARACTER
Essential
• Proven ability to work as part of a team
• Proven track record in customer care
• Proactive attitude to problem solving
• Good communication skills
Desirable
• Self-confident
• Clear headed under pressure
OTHER
Essential
• Able to work a range of hours with occasional overnight stays
• Full driving license
• Legal right to work in UK
Desirable
• Enthusiasm for renewable energies

• A salary of £24,000-£28,000 depending on experience for a 45 hour week including breaks
