ConservationSA is a well respected peak body seeking an enthusiastic Habitat Project Officer to work within their Mount Lofty Ranges Southern Emu-wren and Fleurieu Peninsula Swamps Recovery Program. 

The successful applicant for this role will:

  • Engage and consult land managers 
  • Facilitate and implement on-ground works 
  • Develop property-based Habitat Management Plans to direct on-ground protection and restoration activities 
  • Provide ongoing advice and support to planning and natural resource management bodies 
  • Work collaboratively with other extension program personnel within the region 
  • Develop and deliver FPS and SEW wren habitat management training for key stakeholders as required
  • Assist drafting reports, policy and funding proposals
