A large public sector organisation now needs to recruit an experienced CSR professional to lead its CSR directive across business units for social policy and its charity partner. To do this you will need:
- To be the focal point for all change to Great Place to Work – CSR practices
- To work with Specialists & Business Partners to develop CSR strategy and convert to policy at Group Level
- To work with Social policy experts to develop policy and strategy at both group level and across all business units for all areas of social policy including its charity partner
- To deliver a research and analysis service to the business on World Class practice in CSR policy and practice, together with detailed analysis on leading CSR policy practice in other World Class organisations
- To support Business Partners on Group CSR changes in policy and practices to ensure they are fully understand and will be owned
- To ensure that all change to CSR practices have been shared, agreed and accurately costed before being implemented via CSR Operations
Requirements
• Delivery of aims of Group major charity partnership and other Social policy strategic aims.
• Group assurance of Business unit safety management systems and thorough investigation with recommendations following all group serious & fatal accidents
• The provision of CSR research reports and benchmarking data to support change to Group CSR Policy
• The definition and design of all changes (proposed and actual) to CSR practice
• Stakeholder consultation to assure all changes (proposed and actual) to CSR practice are shared and fully understood
• Change planning, including the design and communication of proposed, outline deployment and delivery plans
• Change control of all internal CSR  HR standards and quality systems
• Provide Group Reporting on CSR legislative areas ( Global Compact, Packaging returns etc)
You must have:
- a qualification in Safety, at least diploma level
- Ideally Level 5 qualification in Health and Safety Management
- Chartered or appropriate professional membership with ideally 5 years post qualification experience in Safety & CSR (covering safety and social policy)
- Policy, standard and procedural formulation skills
- Change management and planning skills
- Customer management (internal and external)
- Communication planning skills
- Ability to design and accurately cost change proposals and projects
