Grid Delivery Manager

Coillte Enterprise division have an exciting opportunity for a Grid Delivery Manager to take responsibility across the full portfolio of Coillte’s windfarm projects to ensure delivery of optimum grid connection solutions in accordance with programme delivery and budget requirements and in full compliance with regulatory standards and best-practice.

The ideal candidate will have a track record in end-to-end delivery of grid connection project components from design through to commissioning and compliance with experience in large scale infrastructure project delivery environment, ideally in wind energy.

The role involves responsibility for management of Grid connection offer/modification process on behalf of Coillte portfolio of projects, development of strategies for contestable works where appropriate including coordination of contestability agreements.

The successful candidate will ensure delivery of Coillte’s interests in joint ventures and across grid connection subgroups.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised with excellent interpersonal, and communication skills, hold a degree in electrical engineering or related discipline and hold strong understanding of power systems design.

This role will be based in Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow or by agreement  and is a fixed term 3 year contract.  The salary on offer for this position will be €55,000 - €70,000  depending on experience plus Benefits Package.
