Greenpeace Telefundraising Senior Team Leader

Auckland - Central Auckland

Looking for a new challenge? Do you aspire to work in a supportive, collaborative and inspirational environment?

Do you already have excellent team management skills? Does making a difference mean a great deal to you?

Greenpeace run one of the most successful tele-fundraising teams in New Zealand. We invest a great deal in our fundraising efforts and we employ the best people for the job and value those who stand out from the crowd.

You will manage a small team of talented and motivated telephone fundraisers whose key objective is to inspire kiwis over the phone to support Greenpeace financially. With an excellent fundraising track record, you will lead by example, getting excellent fundraising results yourself and coaching your own team to do the same.

As a Senior Team Leader you will also support the team manager and coordinator with their responsibilities across the wider phone team. The Senior Team Leader is expected to assist in the recruitment, training and support of new team members, mentoring less experienced team leaders as well as completing team administration to support the smooth running of the team.

You will have at least 12 months of team leader experience in an outbound call centre or similar environment. Good project management skills are advantageous.

The key to this role is great leadership and a positive attitude as you are tasked with ensuring your team achieves targets and maintains outstanding levels of supporter engagement, whilst being in a supportive role for the wider telefundraising team.

Greenpeace accepts no corporate or government donations so we can maintain a much needed independent voice. The work we do is solely funded by individual donations – most are made after a supporter has spoken to one of our fundraisers. That's why this role is so important!

This role is an opportunity for an experienced performer with management skills to make a real contribution to Greenpeace’s work and to take that next important step in their career.

Pay rate $22 per hour plus performance related bonus.

Please apply with a CV and cover letter detailing relevant experience and why you would like to work for Greenpeace.

Applications close on the 9th October
