Greenhouse Gas Emissions Coordinator

Main responsibilities:

• Manage the implementation of an updated Greenhouse Emissions Reporting System
  
• Work with the Supply Chain team to ensure responsibility for emissions reporting is clearly stated in all contracts
  
• Report on greenhouse gas emissions, energy use and energy production in accordance with the NGER Act (including the required assurance and validation)
  
• Assist major capital project teams to estimate their greenhouse gas emissions profile and assess opportunities to reduce emissions
  
• Assist operations to develop future opportunities for emissions reduction
  
• Compile greenhouse gas emission forecasts for Chevron Australia
  
• Act as the energy efficiency champion for Chevron Australia
  
• Ensure Chevron compliance with the Energy Efficiency Opportunities Act (EEO)

Key skills and experience required:

• Over five years experience in environmental engineering
  
• Experience of emissions estimation and reporting
  
• Knowledge and understanding of the NGER and EEO Acts
  
• Self motivated with the ability to effectively manage own workload
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Strong attention to detail
  
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
