Green Infrastructure Co-ordinator (two posts)

We are looking for two enthusiastic and committed Green Infrastructure Coordinators to deliver green infrastructure and biodiversity enhancement across the local authority areas of Torbay and parts of Teignbridge and South Hams, Devon.  The Coordinators will work closely with local authority planners and developers to maximise green infrastructure benefits from development through the Development Planning & Management processes and support the production of site/area master and delivery plans focusing on the enhancement and creation of new priority biodiversity habitats and new green infrastructure.

This is an exciting time for green infrastructure delivery in this area and these roles provide a great opportunity for individuals to make an achievable difference for biodiversity and green infrastructure.

Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust is a local environmental charity and has been the lead in the development of the Torbay Green Infrastructure Delivery Plan, in partnership with Torbay Council and Natural England, and were host to the Torbay Green Infrastructure Delivery Plan Officer. The Trust are champions for green infrastructure work locally and have been a key partner in the development of this important next phase of activity.
