Description
Position Objective: Ensure follow up of already initiated HR projects and HR processes. Further develop Point Carbon’s HR department as a strategic business partner by reaching the set business plan goals for HR. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • The HR Manager is responsible for developing, driving, implementing and follow up HR processes and activities on a global basis based on a set business plan and ad-hoc demands.

Critical success factors:

  • Fluency in English and Norwegian
  • Ability to lead and follow up projects and people in a timely manner
  • Building trust internally
  • Ability to work across cultures and build relationships
  • Strong contact with line managers and top management in Point Carbon


Knowledge, ability and skills requirements: 

  • 4-5 years education with major in HR/Master in HR/organizational psychology or equivalent
  • Preferably min. 2 years relevant experience in the Human Resource Field and…
  • Good knowledge in Norwegian employment law
  • Demonstrate high integrity, leadership, and the ability to address and resolve conflicts
  • Development oriented

  • Structured and organized
  • International experience


Main job tasks: 

  • Develop, initiate and follow up new HR policies and processes based on a already set business plan
  • Drive and follow up established processes such as performance management, employee satisfaction survey and focus plans
  • Build recruiting guidelines for managers and assist managers in hiring
  • Attend career fairs and initiate other employer branding activities based on budget and business plan
  • Drive and organize management training program seminars (program already developed, use of external consultants)
  • Keep contact with and assist outside offices and their HR Admin representatives and Managing Directors
  • Drive salary adjustment process in cooperation with the CFO/COO
  • Responsibility for HR budget
  • Ad hoc daily HR requests
  • Main responsible for HR Corner on the intranet


Our Office Manager also works 50% on HR Admin, and she will take care of salary input, employment contract handling, sick leave’s, employment handbook updates etc. 

Possibilities for extension of the assignment or permanent hire in the HR department. 

Preferable start date: Mid September
