Description

The Grants Officer will contribute to and implement ClientEarth’s Grants strategy, generating both unrestricted and restricted income from statutory funders including foundations and government funding schemes. The post-holder will be responsible for the management of a dedicated grants portfolio, the development of funding proposals and reports, grant administration, and prospect research, and will support prospect cultivation strategies, as well as providing general support.

About you

You will have proven experience in a development role, and particularly experience with statutory fundraising. You will be a reliable, self-motivated individual who thrives in a team environment. You will be solutions-oriented, able to bring imagination and initiative to the role, and be comfortable working closely with senior staff and with colleagues from throughout Europe and beyond. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong database management experience, and be passionate about the environment.
