Within theUKour environmental assessment team has worked on a diverse range of award-winning projects, across many market sectors including transport, infrastructure, renewable energy, water and waste management. Increased workload from new wins means we have a number of new graduate/assistant roles and are looking for the right calibre of person to join our environmental assessment team.

Primary Job Responsibilities

 

  • Assist with various environmental studies, including Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
  • Provide support to other team members and senior staff
  • Produce high quality written work
  • Undertake desk-based reviews and searches
  • Manage/ manipulate environmental data
  • Liaise with team members and other staff as required
  • Assist as required with field surveys
     
Training and Experience    
     
   

  

Essential

 

  • A good degree qualification in a relevant environmental/natural science
  • Proven ability to work well in a team
  • Organisational ability
  • Ability to write clear, concise reports
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation
  • Friendly, can-do and flexible attitude

 

Desirable

 

  • EIA experience
  • Ms Excel, Word and PowerPoint expertise
  • Graduate/ associate membership of relevant professional body
  • GIS experience
  • Full driving licence
First aid training
