Job Description: We are looking to recruit a Graduate Sustainability Consultant into our Bristol office.

As the Graduate Sustainability Consultant you will provide general support on carbon management and sustainability projects to include desk based research, qualitative and quantitative assessment. You will be providing technical assistance and desk based support to consultants in carbon footprinting and management projects, providing technical assistance and desk based support to consultants in sustainability projects including strategy, reporting and measurement, supporting business development activities, through research, communicating internally with colleagues and supporting the development statements of capabilities and proposals.

For the first 6-9 months the majority of time will be on providing project support on a major survey project. This will include managing a helpline, calling UK businesses to chase for survey returns and validating returns, co-ordinating and recording key survey performance indicators and maintaining project documentation and files. You should therefore have experience in task management and technical delivery in research and report writing (including web based research)
The ideal candidate will have a science based BSc which is essential with a sustianibility/carbon/energy MSc. You must be able to demonstrate an understanding on corporate social sustainibility issues and have an understanding of the key drivers and developments in environment, social and economic sustainability affecting companies internationally.

An understanding of current international standards and best practice for carbon footprinting and measurement would be an advantage also.
