The Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and capable individual to join our Digital Delivery team at Graduate level, to support on some of our major projects. If you have an interest in applying your GIS skills, and wider digital knowledge, within a consultancy environment, we would welcome an application from you.

The Duties:

As a Graduate Consultant, you will work closely with Project Managers and other Consultants, providing essential support on projects and to specific business areas. Typical assignments will include data collection and analysis, map production, working on web-apps, liaising with external partners, report writing and contributing to discussions in meetings. Within a short period of time, Graduate Consultants are given responsibility for coordinating tasks within projects.

The role will involve a diverse range of projects and exposure to some of the most high-profile projects in the UK across a range of sectors, including: government and policy; railway, road and air infrastructure; property and regeneration; community; and, construction.  You will also get the opportunity to work with some cutting-edge digital technology and help implement solutions with our clients.

The Candidate

The successful candidates will:

  • Have a degree in a relevant field.
  • Working knowledge of ArcGIS 10.x.
  • Some knowledge of UK spatial data, e.g. Ordnance Survey, environmental data.
  • Ability to communicate technical matters effectively.
  • Interest in applying digital solutions.
  • Have a strong work ethic and be organised, flexible, motivated, professional, enthusiastic, and proactive.
  • Experience of scripting, e.g. python, JavaScript, or other digital skills e.g. databases, HTML, game development, would be of interest.
