Graduate and Licensed Ecologists

TACP (UK) Ltd is recruiting Ecologists to join our busy practice located in the vibrant centre of Cardiff.  If you are interested in joining our team of 18 enthusiastic people, we would be pleased to receive your CV.

Our multi-disciplinary team has a varied and interesting portfolio of major highway, public realm, schools, hospitals, green infrastructure, renewable energy, rural land management, wildlife conservation and development projects in both the public and private sectors.

Our current workload includes a wide range of ecology jobs throughout Wales, SW England and Worcestershire. The work covers field surveys for: bat, lapwing, dormouse, amphibians and reptiles; botanical surveys; Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments, biodiversity reports and site clearance supervision.

We are looking for Licensed Ecologists, with a minimum of five years experience, who are members of CIEEM, with experience of project management and working within complex multi-disciplinary project teams.

At a Graduate level we have seasonal and permanent positions available to help build skills and experience, assisting you to become an integral member of our team. We require a basic knowledge of ecology, survey techniques, enthusiasm, flexibility, a willingness to learn and engage with others.  Candidates should be able to demonstrate report writing skills and a working knowledge of GIS software.
