Description

WWF believes in a future where people and nature thrive. Best known as the world's leading conservation body, we're committed to safeguarding the natural world and tackling the global threat of climate change. By helping to change the way we live, we'll ease pressure on natural resources.

Involved in a surprisingly broad range of activities, WWF-UK is part of a global environment network which makes an essential contribution to sustainable development in the UK and internationally. Our remit is wide; tackling major global threats such as climate change, habitat destruction and unsustainable use of resources by working with people for sustainable solutions.

We are now looking for a Government and Aid Agency Officer to help maximise our relationships with EC and UK donor agencies. Drawing on your substantial administrative and financial experience, you will work closely with Senior GAA Officers and Programmes staff to identify funding opportunities, develop budgets for funding proposals, provide advice on financial aspects of contracts and ensure our systems are kept up to date.

With outstanding organisational skills, proven financial literacy and the ability to juggle competing priorities you will support the team in reaching its ambitious income targets.  Your confident communication skills and attention to detail will help you excel within the GAA Team.
