The Global Finance System Administrator is responsible for providing application support to the global financial system, deliver improvements in the use and efficiency of the financial systems, and provide assistance with system implementations and upgrades.
This position will be based in Hong Kong. For the first 6 months of the contract, this person will be based in Amsterdam.
In this role you will:
- Provide application support for the global financial systems to end-users, develop and maintain systems support documentation.
- Provide training to end-users, develop and implement reporting templates, and improved financial processes. Ensure that best practices are shared throughout the organization.
- Assist with implementations and upgrades of the global finance system onsite and offsite.
- Assist in the management of all global finance system projects to ensure continuous quality, process improvements and data integrity
- Develop and maintain influential working relationships with Finance personnel around the organisation and external support partners.

A minimum of 3 years of experience as an advanced user / administrator / technical support of a major international accounting system such Oracle, SAP or Sun Systems, and a good understanding of operating systems and SQL are the minimumprerequisites for the job. Candidates should be willing to travel extensively and work flexible hours when required, have strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills, and be fluent in written and spoken English.
