Description

Reporting directly to the Global Head of Sales & Marketing. The Team Global Director of Marketing, Rooftop Systems will manage the marketing team members within the European Marketing Team for the systems business for rooftops. They will lead their marketing efforts and increase their brand awareness for rooftop systems across the globe. They seek a driven, highly–organized individual with great communication and leadership skills to join their team PV modules and systems for large -scale power plants.

Position Overview: 
Reporting directly to the Global Head of Sales & Marketing. The Team Global Director of Marketing, Rooftop Systems will manage the marketing team members within the European Marketing Team for the systems business for rooftops. They will lead their marketing efforts and increase their brand awareness for rooftop systems across the globe. They seek a driven, highly-organized individual with great communication and leadership skills to join their team.

Responsibilities: 
– Manage the team members within the global marketing team 
– Managing the entire budget for marketing for the rooftop systems business unit 
– Development of new customer offers, loyalty and local brand awareness programs, working closely with the product marketing managers and global brand managers 
– Development of product USP`s and communication tools 
– Increase brand recognition among consumers 
– Develop product strategy definition, marketing requirements analysis, and pricing for rooftop systems 
– Conduct relevant market research, monitors competitive activity, and identify customer needs 
– Establish product-specific strategic positioning strategies 
– Interact with engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance the competitiveness of existing product 
– Prepare and coordinate marketing support programs and product launches 
– Aid with planning and creation of advertising and promotional materials 
– Make presentations to customers 
– Development and implementation of measurable success factor deliverables for marketing campaigns, and marketing actions 
– This position will work very closely with and/or will lead the sales team, global brand / marketing research and product marketing teams for rooftop systems

Education: 
– Business related degree

Core Requirements:- 
– You will have at least 5-10 years of marketing experience, with an excellent track record in solar applciations marketing, 
– Excellent problem solving skills 
– Proven track success in developing distinguishing offers in very competitive market environment 
– Good understanding of regulatory requirements in the European solar industry 
– Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results 
– Proven track record in solar business development and growth

General Requirements:- 
– Good MS Office skills (excellent Excel skills). 
– Good time management skills and multi-tasking skills 
– Willing to travel 
– Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization 
– Ability to manage multiple projects

Key Skills 
Fluency in German and English, solar PV experience, solar systems experience, solar applications experience, rooftop systems or applications, product management, product marketing
