About the Marine Stewardship Council

The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) is the world’s leading marine ecolabelling and certification program for wild capture fisheries. The organisation's mission is to reverse the decline in global fish stocks, to deliver quantifiable improvements in marine conservation and thereby help to secure the livelihoods of those involved in the global fishing industry. The MSC is recognised internationally as credible solution to the environmental problem of overfishing.

Information on the role

This exciting internship opportunity is within the Global Communications team working alongside the Head of Digital & Innovation. The successful candidate will help to implement and manage a multimedia library for the organisation. The multimedia library will support the Communications team in delivery of its objectives of collecting, storing, analysing and creatively disseminating qualitative and quantitative information on the MSC programme.

The successful candidate will be required to develop new tools and methods to illustrate MSC and its partners work, coordinating across the organisation.

This is a voluntary, unpaid position. The MSC will offer daily lunch expenses of up to £5 a day and daily public transport travel expenses within London zones 1-4 on provision of receipts.
