Global Commodity Supply Chain Proj Mgr
Job Description • Optimization of Supply Chain Structure and Components • Lead supplier selection teams and process. • Negotiate pricing and master supply agreements. • Manage Supplier Performance (key performance metrics, scorecards, Quarterly management reviews, etc) • Ensure availability of capacity (including upside capacity) • Achieve continuous and significant cost reductions • Achieve continuous lead time reductions • Manage supplier relationships at executive level • Resolve supplier escalations • Perform cost-price analyses and pricing projections • Identify and evaluate alternative materials and sourcing options • Identify and evaluate outsourced manufacturing options. • Develop and implement long term supply strategies to meet future business needs • Develop supply chain processes, tools, and automation
Job Requirements “MUSTS” • Bachelors or higher degree in Business and/or Engineering • Effective verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with internal & external customers and suppliers, and to develop and present communication plans and strategies at the executive level. • Excellent negotiation skills with demonstrated results. • Good understanding of materials and services costs drivers. • Creativity in identifying practical and significant cost reduction opportunities. • Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain and operations within the high technology industry. “DESIRED” • Solar company experience • Experience in both large (“Fortune 1000”) and start-up companies • Internal or external consulting experience (“Big 4” or “Boutique”) • MBA • APICS Certification highly desirable • Oracle experience very beneficial • Affiliation with professional supply chain, logistics, and/or procurement organizations • Fluency in Mandarin
